Day1: Arrival and transfer to the Saloum islands.
You will be warmly welcomed at the international Blaise Diagne airport and transferred to the Saloum.
Welcome drink and accommodation at “Palmarin Ecolodge”.
Day 2: SALOUM ISLANDS
After breakfast at ECOLODGE departure for a fullday Saloum islands discovery classified by the UNESCO as M.A.B. (Man And Biosphere).
The Saloum Islands shelter a variety of a great richness of Ecosystems.
While taking your boat ride through the Saloum’s rivers meanders, you could admire the oysters hooked at the mangrove roots and also the various bird’s islands and fishing village inhabited mostly by the Niominka.
Your lunch will be a fresh fish barbecue on a desert island. Afterwards relax at beach side before visiting other interesting sites in the afternoon.
Dinner at the Ecolodge and overnight deep in a peaceful nature.
Day 3: PALMARIN/JOAL/SALY
After breakfast leave Palmarin to Joal. Drive through the palm trees forest of Samba Dia, sheltering traditionnel ans typical Fulanis villages.
Once in Joal and Fadiouth opportunity will be taken to visit the sea shells cemetery, the millet granaries on piles. The fishing port where we will assist to the fisherman return back.
Arrival at Saly Resort at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight at “Bougainvilliers” hotel or similar.
Day 4: SALY/PINK LAKE/DAKAR
Breakfast at hotel
09:00am departure to the Pink Lake passing through the Sindia baobabs forest and the Niayes Horticultural Belt.
Arrival at the Lake and take a 4×4 wheel ride tour on the sand dunes and discover the magnificent wild beach as well.
Return back to the Lake and interact with the “salt harvester”.
Lunch will be taken at the restaurant facing the lake.
Afternoon proceed further north to Dakar. Sightseeing of the capital city with its various monuments, its popular quarters and residential as well; show case of the modern Senegalese design.
At the end of the day transfer to Goree Island. Dinner and overnight at the “Municipal Lodge Hotel”
Day 5: Breakfast on Goree.
Visit of the Island classified “World Historical Site”. Discover the “Slaves House”, Saint Charles Boromeo Church”. The Historical IFAN Museum, the ancient Fort and the “Martyr’s Memorial” as well.
Lunch will be taken at “Saint Germain” restaurant.
In the afternoon transfer back to your hotel or to AIBD airport for your departure’s assistance.
